Welcome to the Forbes Family Website. The primary purpose of this website is to provide shareholders information about our farm and investments. A secondary purpose is to share information and photos with friends of shareholders.

Brief History:
The farm was purchased by May and Forest Byrd on January 22, 1951 for $85,000 from a number of sellers having varying ownership in the land. May Byrd died in September 1983 and left the farm to Marion Forbes. Currently there are 10 stockholders of which 7 are Marion and Arthur's Grandchildren.
On December 4, 2010 additional land was purchased consisting of ~147.68 acres of the SW1/4 of Section 12-T85N-R45W . It is also located adjacent to the North boundary of existing farmlands owned by Byrd-Forbes Farms.
